The Margaux was designed to be the leather backpack you reach for every day—effortless enough for life on the go, yet beautifully made and polished enough to carry almost anywhere.

Handcrafted in Italy from rich leather in Castagna, a warm chestnut brown, The Margaux combines the ease and functionality of a backpack with the refinement of a beautifully constructed Italian leather bag.

Its softly structured silhouette feels relaxed without losing its shape, while a generously sized zip opening makes the interior exceptionally easy to access. Adjustable leather backpack straps allow it to sit comfortably across the shoulders, and two leather top handles provide an elegant alternative when you prefer to carry it by hand.

Inside, the spacious leather-lined compartment is finished with Italian tricolor trim—a small but meaningful detail honoring the craftsmanship and country behind every Margaux. Antique-brass-finish hardware complements the warmth of the leather and gives the design a subtle, timeless character.

Designed to be carried often and enjoyed for years, the leather will soften and develop an increasingly individual patina with use. It is practical enough for everyday life, spacious enough for travel and refined enough to feel like far more than an ordinary backpack.

The Margaux is available exclusively as a limited preorder. Delivery is guaranteed by December 18, in time for the holidays.

Made by Hand, Made to Be Unique

Each Margaux is individually cut and handcrafted in Italy using natural materials. Subtle variations in color, texture, grain, stitching and finish are an authentic part of the artisanal process.

Small differences from one backpack to the next are not flaws. They are part of the beauty and character of something made by hand. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike, and that individuality is part of what makes each Margaux special.

Leather Care

The leather has been finished to give it a naturally lived-in character and will continue to soften and develop a unique patina with use.

When not in use, store The Margaux in its provided dust bag. Keep it away from prolonged moisture and direct heat. If it becomes wet, gently blot away excess moisture and allow it to dry naturally.

Processing Time:
All orders are processed within 7–10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). During high-volume times, processing may take an extra day or two, but we’ll always keep you updated if there’s any delay.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and package weight.
Most orders within the U.S. arrive within 3–7 business days after shipping.

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

Lost or Stolen Packages:
Once your package leaves our hands, it’s in the care of the carrier (UPS, USPS, or FedEx). If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you didn’t receive your order, please reach out to the carrier first.

International Shipping:
We currently ship within the U.S. and Canada. International shipping rates and delivery times vary by location. Customers are responsible for any customs fees or import duties.

Returns & exchanges
We hope you enjoy your Horse Girl × Cornetti pieces for years to come. If your purchase is not quite right, contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange a return or exchange. For preorders, the 14 days start when your piece is delivered.

Items must be unworn, unused and in their original condition, with the original packaging and dust bags. Please try boots on indoors on a clean, carpeted surface to protect the soles. Items showing signs of wear cannot be accepted.

Please ship your return within 7 days of approval. After inspection, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Exchange shipping is complimentary and covered by Horse Girl. Exchanges are subject to availability.

Between sizes?
You are welcome to order two sizes of the same boot style together. Keep your preferred pair and return the other. Both pairs must be purchased in the same order, and the returned pair must meet the conditions above.

Quality & craftsmanship
If your piece arrives damaged, incorrect or appears to have a manufacturing defect, email us with your order number and clear photographs. We will review the issue and arrange a resolution at no additional cost to you.

Refunds:
If you’re unhappy with your item for any reason, just reach out to us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll issue a full refund — no need to send the item back — unless your order included five (5) or more pairs of socks, in which case we’ll email you a prepaid return label.

Exchanges:
We don’t offer direct exchanges on these items, but you’re always welcome to place a new order for the style or size you prefer.

Damaged or incorrect items:
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within 7 days of delivery so we can replace it immediately.
